Job Description
• On-site, full-time Industrial Pipefitter/IRP Technician role with Randstad USA in Austin, TX, working a third shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, including weekends.
• Monitor and maintain critical FAB infrastructure, utility, and cleanroom systems; respond immediately to alarms, equipment failures, utility disruptions, and system faults.
• Independently troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and control-system issues and perform scheduled preventive and urgent corrective maintenance.
• Serve as an active ERT member, enforce LOTO and PPE safety protocols, lead initial incident containment, escalate high-risk failures, and coordinate with engineering and operations teams.
• Requires a high school education, 2 years of experience, mechanical maintenance, blueprint reading, inspection, pipe fitting, TIG welding, and the ability to lift up to 50 lb and stand for 10 hours; compensation is $40–$50/hour.
