Job Description
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and rebuilds on hydraulic, steam, HVAC, plumbing, robotics, machine tools, and related industrial equipment.
• Install and repair pipes, fixtures, valves, supports, fittings, heating and air-conditioning systems, and water heaters for water, gas, steam, and air systems.
• Use a CMMS to document problems and completed corrective actions; identify tools, materials, and replacement parts.
• Requires at least one qualifying credential or background: relevant AAS/AOS degree, related military training, 3 years of manufacturing-facility experience, 3 years of commercial HVAC experience, 2 years of plumber/steamfitter apprenticeship, Journeyman Steamfitter status, or Licensed NYS Plumber status.
• Requires willingness to work off shifts, weekends, and second shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM; position is on-site in Schenectady, NY and pays $37.11/hr–$45.64/hr plus a potential $1.00/hr night-shift bonus.
