Inpatient Clinician / Social Worker - Licensed (LPC or LCSW) or Licensed Eligible

Job Description

• Full-time, on-site Inpatient Clinician/Social Worker role with UHS at Poplar Springs Hospital in Petersburg, VA, serving adult and adolescent behavioral health patients.
• Conduct psycho-social assessments; provide individual and family therapy; manage a caseload and develop treatment plans.
• Lead process and educational groups, participate in unit activities, and maintain contact with referral sources and families.
• Complete timely documentation, referral development, committee participation, chart audits, and continuous quality improvement activities.
• Requires an MS degree in counseling, psychology, or a related social services field; two years of direct patient-care experience is preferred; LPC/LCSW preferred or licensed-eligible candidates considered. Must be at least 21 under Virginia DBHDS requirements and available for weekends and holidays as needed.
