Instructor/Assistant Professor - Computer Science

Job Description

• Instructor/Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Seton Hill University in Greensburg, PA; full-time, 10-month, exempt faculty position with on-campus teaching and online course assignments.
• Teach undergraduate courses in foundational computer science, data structures, algorithms, software development, computer systems, and related topics.
• Develop curriculum in machine learning, artificial intelligence, data science, software engineering, and other emerging technologies; active AI expertise is preferred.
• Advise students, direct capstone projects, assist with internship placement, conduct research, and participate in assessment, committees, program development, scholarship, and university service.
• Requires a master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field by the start date; prior college-level teaching is preferred, relevant industry experience is highly desirable, and background checks and clearances are required.
