Job Description
• Teach 30 credit hours during the fall and spring semesters, including theory and hands-on instruction in HVAC/R subjects; assignments may include days, evenings, weekends, and multiple campus locations.
• Develop, revise, and update HVAC/R curriculum; potentially develop and teach online courses.
• Instruct, advise, support, and provide timely feedback to students while maintaining office hours and advising student clubs and groups.
• Participate in committees, advisory councils, task forces, working groups, professional development, and cooperative education or clinical site development.
• Requires an Associate's Degree in HVAC/R or relevant work experience, at least three years of HVAC/R technician experience, and EPA Section 608 Universal Certification; bachelor's degree, two years of post-secondary teaching experience, and journeyman certifications are preferred.
• Full-time, on-site, exempt position in Las Cruces, NM, with a salary of $55,656–$58,438.
