Job Description
• Full-time Group Fitness Instructor position with the Plattsburgh YMCA in Plattsburgh, NY; work mode is not specified.
• Teach safe, effective group exercise classes for members across multiple fitness levels and modify choreography as needed.
• Supervise participants, maintain safe and clean exercise spaces, follow YMCA emergency procedures, and report irregularities.
• Build member relationships, provide courteous health and fitness guidance, represent YMCA values, and collaborate with staff.
• Requires current CPR/AED and Standard First Aid certifications plus a valid fitness instructor certification; occasional bending, stooping, and lifting at least 15 pounds are required.
