INSULATOR EXPERIENCED

Job Description

• Perform insulation removal, repair, and installation on piping systems, ventilation systems, components, structures, and throughout ships using fiberglass, calcium silicate, and rubatex; may also remove/install floor tiling.
• Requires 2+ years of hands-on insulation work experience; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Full-time, on-site position in Newport News, VA, with multiple shifts, overtime as needed, and no travel or telework.
• Must be a U.S. citizen; no security clearance is required to start, but a background investigation and drug screen are required.
• Must pass a physical agility test and safely perform strenuous work, including lifting at least 40 pounds, overhead work, extreme heights, confined spaces, outdoor work in all weather, and radiation-area work with appropriate training and equipment.
• Compensation range: $74,297.60 to $85,196.80 in anticipated base pay.
