Job Description
• Full-time Insulator/Journeyperson 4 role in the Lagging department at NASSCO in Norfolk, VA; shipyard work is on-site by job context.
• Works the 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. shift; the posting also lists Shift: ALL.
• Reads and interprets insulation drawings, then lays out and installs insulation systems.
• Designs and fabricates lagging pads and calcium-silicate miters, and installs them on pipe flanges, valves, ventilation systems, and engine exhaust systems.
