Intern, Film Development- Spring 2027

Job Description

• LEGEND PICTURES LLC seeks a part-time, paid Film Development Intern for its Burbank, CA program, reporting to the Executive Director, Development; program dates are January 25, 2027 - April 2, 2027.
• Read and evaluate scripts and books, write coverage, summarize incoming projects, and assess whether projects are worth pursuing.
• Curate and update internal writer, actor, and director lists; compile and provide input on creative grids and lists covering books, comics, video games, films, television, pop culture, and culturally relevant content.
• Research properties being considered for possible feature adaptations and perform light general office duties while working closely with executives and team members.
• Candidates must be enrolled in college/university with at least one class in the preceding Fall/Spring semester or have graduated within the past six months; must be at least 18, possess unrestricted work authorization, and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. A GPA of 3.5 or above is highly preferred.
