International Trade Compliance Director/Counsel, Export Controls & Sanctions

Job Description

• International Trade Compliance Director/Counsel role with Larson Maddox in Philadelphia, PA; work mode is not specified.
• Advise more than 100 worldwide business units and corporate stakeholders on ITAR, EAR, OFAC, customs, import/export, anti-corruption, anti-boycott, and other trade compliance matters.
• Lead compliance training, update manuals, conduct audits, prepare subpoena responses and voluntary disclosures, and manage trade screening tools.
• Support mergers and acquisitions due diligence and negotiate trade-related provisions in commercial agreements with AMETEK Law Department personnel.
• Requires a J.D., current bar membership, 15+ years of law firm or combined in-house and law firm experience, and demonstrated ability to use and critically evaluate AI tools; compensation is $150K–$250K a year; full-time.
