International Trade Compliance Intern

Job Description

• Full-time International Trade Compliance Intern at Garmin's U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area; work mode is not explicitly stated.
• Supports manufacturing and distribution operations involving production, warehousing, and global product distribution, including process improvement, documentation, cost/benefit analysis, and management reporting.
• Audits import/export documentation, classifies finished goods, performs Denied Party List screening, files EEI, maintains regulatory records, and supports international trade and supply chain security compliance.
• Pursuing a degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Logistics, Analytics, Finance, Economics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; GPA of at least 3.0 generally expected.
• Requires Microsoft Office proficiency, strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail and quality; previous international trade compliance experience and excellent written/verbal communication are desired.
