Job Description

• Cybersecurity internship with The MITRE Corporation in El Segundo, CA, with an onsite requirement of at least 3 days per week.
• Apply cybersecurity and information security knowledge to real-world challenges across adversary emulation, cyber forensics, threat intelligence, reverse engineering, IoT/mobile security, operational technology, resilient systems, and cyber policy development.
• Must be a full-time student pursuing an accredited degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related discipline, remain enrolled the following semester, and demonstrate sustained academic excellence.
• Requires foundational knowledge of cybersecurity/information security methodologies, frameworks, tools, and/or programming languages; preferred experience includes an internship, research, or lab setting.
• Must pass MITRE’s employment background check and may be required to obtain a U.S. Government Security clearance within one year of hire, potentially requiring U.S. citizenship; compensation is $46,500–$69,500 annually, with a $58,000 midpoint.
