Job Description
• Jefferies is hiring a full-time Investment Banking Analyst for its Municipal Finance team in Dallas, TX; work mode is not specified.
• Support strategic advisory, capital markets solutions, transaction execution, debt structuring, financial analysis, and business development for municipal and public-sector clients.
• Build quantitative models, financing scenarios, debt affordability analyses, capital planning models, pitch books, client presentations, RFP responses, and marketing materials.
• Analyze municipal issuer financial statements, budgets, economic data, credit profiles, market conditions, interest rates, regulatory developments, and sector research across education, healthcare, transportation, utilities, housing, and local government.
• Requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency, and 1 to 2 years of related experience preferred; Bloomberg, Capital IQ, DBC Finance, MuniOS, CFA, Series 52, or Series 63 exposure is advantageous.
• Compensation is $110,000–$125,000 per year.
