Job Description

• Full-time, skilled Ironworker Journeyman role with Craft Recruiting in Port Arthur, TX, performed on-site in a construction/industrial and power plant environment.
• Lay out, install, assemble, fabricate, align, bolt, weld, and erect structural steel according to blueprints, specifications, codes, and industry standards.
• Operate or work with cranes, hoisting equipment, rigging, hand tools, power tools, layout tools, welding equipment, torches, metal shears, lasers, transits, levels, and plumb bobs.
• Inspect subordinate work for compliance with contract plans and specifications, identify deficiencies, and take corrective action.
• Requires Ironworker Journeyman experience in a Power Plant / Industrial setting, required tools, possible U.S. Driver License, ability to work irregular hours and at heights, and successful pre-access drug/alcohol and fit-for-duty testing.
