Job Description
• Support the Project Manager on single-family residential energy code compliance and ENERGY STAR/Efficient New Homes certification projects.
• Perform residential energy modeling in REM/Rate, Ekotrope, and other software; evaluate HERS Index projections and compliance with applicable codes and programs.
• Produce ECA/ECS reports, recommended building specifications, plan reviews, supporting documentation, and certification deliverables for clients.
• Conduct kickoff meetings, provide technical support to architects, engineers, contractors, and trades, and perform field testing when necessary.
• Requires a RESNET HERS Rater credential, residential energy modeling experience, experience with at least one specified energy code or certification standard, and location in NJ, NY, CT, or PA; salary starts at $80,000-$90,000/year.
