K-12 Teacher - Elementary, Middle, High School Teacher

Job Description

• K-12 teacher responsible for implementing Uncommon Schools’ curriculum and student success across elementary, middle, or high school grades and all subjects.
• Uses assessment data to measure progress, differentiate instruction, and respond strategically to student learning needs.
• Creates a positive, structured classroom aligned with school values, high expectations, and the code of conduct.
• Requires a Bachelor's degree before employment and a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher; valid State Certification and a Master’s degree are helpful but not required.
• Experienced-teacher applicants preferably have at least two years of teaching experience in an urban public or charter school setting; new teachers need demonstrated passion for K-12 students, with school or urban-community experience preferred.
• Full-time compensation is $60,000–$85,000, with starting pay influenced by teaching experience, education certifications, and tenure; work mode is not specified.
