Lab Testing Clerk

Job Description

• Labcorp is hiring a full-time Lab Testing Clerk/Reference Test Clerk in Fairhope, AL; work mode is not specified in the posting.
• Prepare, sort, rack, retrieve, process, and route biological laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Research and resolve customer and specimen issues, send test requests to the proper location, release test results, and assist clients with specimen-related inquiries.
• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, with 3 months or more of specimen processing experience and 3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience preferred.
• Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with rotating weekends; must pass a standardized color blindness test and be flexible to work overtime or other shifts.
