Job Description

• Full-time Lead Cook I at The Grill at Torrey Pines, located at The Lodge at Torrey Pines in La Jolla, CA; on-site culinary/hospitality role.
• Prepare and present menu items at an assigned station while maintaining quality, freshness, proper recipes, technique, cleanliness, and food-safety standards.
• Lead by example, train and assist other cooks, foster teamwork, and support timely service and an excellent guest experience.
• Requires at least 2 years of relevant experience and/or training; previous hotel or similar-business experience is preferred.
• Weekend and holiday availability, ability to obtain a valid San Diego County Food Handler certification upon hire, and ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 25 lbs. are required.
