Lead Cyber Security Engineer

Job Description

• Lead cyber operations engineering efforts that support sponsor decision-making, situational awareness, operational concepts, mission engineering, and national-security missions.
• Produce written reports, models, system diagrams, cyber operations strategies, prototypes, and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
• Lead functional teams or complex projects, guide other personnel, and collaborate with MITRE leadership, government representatives, operational forces, and task/project leads.
• Apply systems engineering, intelligence support, offensive and defensive cyber operations, AI/ML, automation, CI/CD, Platform Engineering, Agile acquisition, and DevSecOps to improve mission outcomes.
• Requires 8+ years with a Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years with a Master’s degree, or a relevant PhD/equivalent; U.S. Citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph are required, with Fort Meade, MD on-site work at least 3 days per week.
