Job Description
• Full-time Lead Excavator Operator role with Garney Construction in Richland, LA, supporting pipe construction work in an on-site field environment
• Operate a Cat 336 excavator or larger for excavating, backfilling, trenching, ditching, clearing, looming, fine grading, and final cleanup
• Requires five years of construction experience operating a Cat 336 excavator or larger, equipment maintenance knowledge, and trench box/shoring experience
• Perform operator-level machine maintenance, safely work as part of a crew, understand safe working loads and signals, and handle trench boxes of all sizes and shapes
• Must be able to work overtime, willing to travel, and pass background screening in a drug-free workplace
