Major Project Civil Engineer (Staff, Senior, or Principal)

Job Description

• Design and support construction of utility-scale renewable and dispatchable electric generation facilities in Colorado, working with EPC contractors, equipment suppliers, Operations, construction teams, and company engineers.
• Perform engineering activities including research, design, equipment selection, procurement support, installation, commissioning, testing, inspections, calculations, reports, standards, and technical documentation.
• Provide technical support to Operations, Maintenance, testing/diagnostics, and Regulatory functions; support bids, proposal evaluations, budgeting, estimating, forecasting, accounting, and work order management.
• Staff level requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program and 2+ years of relevant engineering experience; senior and principal levels require 5+/9+ years with specified EIT/FE or PE requirements, or 7+/15+ years without them.
• Hybrid Denver role requiring on-site work at least three days weekly through site commissioning; compensation ranges from $81,000 to $156,600 per year depending on level.
