Manager, Distribution Center Optimization & orage Engineering

Job Description

• Manager-level role leading storage engineering, slotting optimization, distribution center design, and warehouse improvement initiatives for Grainger U.S. fulfillment.
• Manage and develop supply chain analysts while providing technical leadership, mentoring, performance management, and career development.
• Lead large-scale projects involving storage modeling, simulation, advanced analytics, project planning, cross-functional execution, KPIs, and leadership reporting.
• Requires a bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or an equivalent STEM field; 5+ years of supply chain or equivalent business experience; and up to 75% travel during peak periods.
• Hybrid position based at Grainger's corporate HQ in Lake Forest, IL, with 2–3 days per week onsite; compensation is $87,200–$145,300 base pay plus an incentive target of up to 15%.
