Market Manager - Wealth Management

Job Description

• Manage a one-location Commerce Trust office and oversee trust functions, sales performance, operational goals, policies, and legal/compliance requirements.
• Lead business development, referral generation, relationship sales, and solicitation and closing of asset management services.
• Guide, hire, evaluate, mentor, motivate, coach, and develop Commerce Trust staff while managing workflow and departmental priorities.
• Advance market strategy, manage budgets and expenditures, make sponsorship and marketing decisions, and represent the bank at community events.
• Requires a bachelor’s degree in general business, finance, accounting, management, or equivalent education/experience; 6+ years of related business development experience; and 3+ years of leadership/supervisory experience.
• Requires a valid driver’s license, compliance with Commerce Bank driving-record criteria, authorization for motor vehicle and credit-history investigations, and eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
