Medicaid Accounts Receivable Manager

Job Description

• Manage Medicaid accounts receivable billing and collections operations and lead the Medicaid A/R billing team in Mendota Heights, MN.
• Monitor AR performance, aging, billing errors, denial patterns, reporting accuracy, and month-end/year-end close activities.
• Develop revenue-collection and financial-reporting processes while collaborating with the Director of Revenue Cycle Management and internal/external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state Medicare/Medicaid hospice billing regulations, Medicaid requirements, AR policies, and HIPAA; maintain confidentiality and minimum-necessary use of protected health information.
• Requires 5+ years of hospice billing, collections, and reporting experience and 5+ years of Accounts Receivable team management experience (preferred), plus a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field (preferred), and the ability to pass a DHS background study.
• Full-time position; work mode is not specified; salary is $95,000-$115,000/annually.
