Job Description

• Support nursing and medical staff in patient care while performing routine administrative and clinical duties.
• Coordinate activities in outpatient and procedural areas to facilitate smooth patient flow.
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a Medical Assistant program, and Medical Assistant certification through AMT, AAMA, NCCT, NHA, or NAHP.
• Requires Basic Life Support from a hospital-based AHA-approved program and Vision and Hearing certifications as appropriate to the specialty within six months of hire.
• One year of recent relevant healthcare-facility experience is preferred; bilingual skills, specialty competency validation, computer/key-entry experience, and availability for weekends, holidays, flexible scheduling, and overtime may be required.
