Medical Assistant

Job Description

• Assist physicians and designees with patient examinations, treatments, and clinical care in a medical-center/department setting.
• Interview patients, measure vital signs, document medical-record information, prepare treatment rooms, and perform routine laboratory tests and clinical/technical procedures.
• Schedule appointments, complete required forms, perform computer data entry, and manage medical supplies and materials.
• Administer medications including injections when assigned; clean, process, sterilize, and check instruments when assigned.
• Provide proactive customer service, respond to alarms and patient requests, maintain a clean and functional environment, and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Full-time position in San Francisco, CA; no degree, experience, certification, license, or supervisory requirement is stated.
