Job Description
• Perform and report routine to moderately complex diagnostic laboratory tests prescribed by physicians, including quality control and quality assurance documentation.
• Troubleshoot equipment and test issues, perform preventative and safety maintenance, maintain inventory, and escalate unresolved problems.
• Follow PPE, laboratory, hospital, and safety standards; maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
• Provide professional customer service and support laboratory education, orientation, and training for students, employees, and clinicians.
• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related science field; ASCP MT or MLS certification is preferred.
• Full-time evening shift in Philadelphia, PA: Monday–Friday, 3:30pm–12:00am, with rotating weekend and holiday coverage; $30.25–$38.55/hour.
