Metal Prep Programmer

Job Description

• Full-time Metal Prep Programmer role in Athens, GA, supporting electrical equipment manufacturing and metal fabrication operations.
• Develop, maintain, test, and optimize CNC, laser cutting, press brake, folder, Amada, and material-nesting programs using Mazak and Striker Systems software.
• Translate engineering drawings and production requirements into efficient manufacturing methods that improve throughput, material utilization, dimensional accuracy, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Coordinate production schedules, equipment capacity, programming priorities, and operator support with Engineering, Production Planning, Manufacturing, and Operations teams.
• Requires an associate degree in a related technical field preferred or equivalent experience, plus 2+ years of CNC, laser, or fabrication programming experience; CAD, ERP/In­for, manufacturing software, precision measurement, and sheet-metal fabrication knowledge are required or preferred as specified.
