Mig Welder

Job Description

• Perform MIG welding on galvanized steel, mild steel, and aluminum truck cab parts at Volvo Group’s on-site Kings Mountain Operations facility.
• Set up, adjust, monitor, and safely operate MIG welding equipment while interpreting blueprints, work orders, and welding symbols.
• Inspect welds for structural integrity, uniformity, engineering compliance, and production quality; make corrections as needed.
• Requires a high school diploma or GED, one (1) year of welding and fabrication experience, ability to weld positions 1G/1F through 4G/4F, and successful completion of a facility welding test.
• Full-time role paying $19.75–$24.40/hour, with possible bonus eligibility; early, evening, weekend shifts and overtime may be required.
