Job Description

• Full-time Multifamily Underwriting Associate role with Freddie Mac in McLean, VA; work mode is not specified.
• Underwrite Targeted Affordable Housing multifamily mortgage loans through credit approval and closing, including review of borrower finances, markets, properties, inspections, and third-party reports.
• Prepare clear, complete Investment Briefs and maintain accurate data quality for loan securitization; collaborate with Producers to structure transactions and present deals for approval.
• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, or comparable relevant experience; 0–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Requires Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency, strong communication and collaboration skills, travel, and ability to stay current on applicable policies and regulations; salary is $91,000–$137,000 annually plus eligibility for an annual incentive program.
