National Security Strategist

Job Description

• Lead HPE’s national security policy initiatives across networking, AI, high-performance computing, cybersecurity, export controls, and strategic US government sales.
• Build relationships with White House, Department of War, intelligence agency, and Congressional stakeholders; advocate for technology modernization, defense, procurement, and appropriations.
• Interpret national security, export control, and cybersecurity laws; collaborate with legal teams on compliance and emerging federal regulatory risks.
• Develop policies, corporate positions, and action plans while supporting sales enablement and strategic growth for federal and intelligence customers.
• Requires 5+ years of relevant government relations, public policy, regulatory affairs, or advocacy experience; a relevant degree; and ideally security clearance and credentials. Hybrid in Washington, DC, averaging 2 days per week in an HPE office.
