Job Description

• Network Development Engineer III role with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Seattle, WA, supporting AWS, customers, and business units across global datacenters.
• Build, deploy, scale, operate, troubleshoot, optimize, and sustain data center and interconnect networks, including routing, platforms, performance, configurations, and next-generation IP networking.
• Requires 8+ years of major internet routing protocols experience, 5+ years working in Linux/Unix environments, and 3+ years of automation scripting with Python, Bash, Shell and/or Perl.
• Lead network deployment, scaling, technology refresh, sustaining engineering, standards, compliance, automation, documentation, and large-scale incident resolution projects.
• Full-time, 24x7 on-call role requiring critical-event workplace access and travel to data center/network sites and Amazon/customer offices; bachelor's degree or above in computer science or equivalent preferred; salary is $159,100–$215,300 USD annually.
