Network Engineer / Principal Network Engineer (AHT)

Job Description

• Design and plan network communication systems and produce specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture in Northrop Grumman Space Systems' Aurora, CO team.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN network faults and failures, and recommend hardware, software, implementation techniques, tools, and capacity solutions.
• Maintain expertise in routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, COMSEC equipment, and network/software interconnections; evaluate new communication technologies.
• Level 2 requires a Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 0 years; Level 3 requires a Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years or a Master's degree with 3+ years.
• Requires U.S. citizenship, active current-in-scope Top Secret clearance, active current-in-scope Full Scope Polygraph, ability to obtain and maintain SCI access, Security+ certification, and at least 30% travel.
