Job Description
• Remote, full-time Network/Systems Engineer 3 role supporting VA enterprise network implementation, activation, logistics, data center readiness, lifecycle management, and Tier IV infrastructure support.
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or another engineering/technical discipline plus 5-8 years of relevant experience; eight additional years may substitute for education case-by-case.
• Installs, racks, cables, powers, validates, configures, replaces, and maintains routers, switches, Palo Alto firewalls, F5 platforms, management appliances, and other network/security equipment.
• Performs IP/VLAN/routing validation, testing, packet analysis, hardware and connectivity troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, documentation, asset control, RMA support, and change-control/back-out procedures.
• Must be able to pass a government Tier 4 High Background Investigation; quarterly travel to four designated Co-Lo facilities and additional ad-hoc travel are required. Salary: USD $81,850.00 - USD $106,400.00 /Yr.
