Job Description
• Assistant Shop Manager role at Take 5 Oil Change in Henderson, TX, supporting daily operations in an on-site, fast-paced automotive service environment.
• Serve as Manager on Duty, coordinate workflow, ensure safe and accurate oil-change services, and complete opening, closing, inventory, reporting, and operational follow-up.
• Train, coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members while supporting customer service, issue resolution, shop performance, and leadership coverage.
• Requires at least 6 months of customer service experience and 6 months of experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others; automotive experience is valued but not required.
• Complete Certified Technician training and meet applicable certification requirements, including Inspector Certification when required; must lift up to 50 pounds and work in a vehicle service pit and hot or cold conditions.
