Job Description
• P&C Middle Market Center Sales Underwriter role with The Hartford in Brea, CA, operating on a hybrid schedule in Brea, Los Angeles, or Scottsdale offices three days per week, Tuesday through Thursday.
• Underwrite and pursue new business pricing, manage complex accounts, apply underwriting guidelines, and complete quotes with limited senior support and infrequent referrals.
• Analyze agency books quarterly and execute new and renewal account, mix, territorial, and agency sales strategies while advising brokers and agents.
• Requires 3+ years of preferred P&C Middle Market Carrier Underwriting experience, strong analytical, technical, communication, relationship, organizational, and decision-making skills, plus a valid driver's license for business travel.
• Full-time position with an annualized base salary of $68,000-$123,600.
