Part-Time Assistant Teacher

Job Description

• Part-time Assistant Teacher at Alphabet Station, part of BrightPath Early Learning & Child Care; United States location.
• Work side-by-side with teachers and families to care for and supervise children ages 6 weeks–12 years according to NAEYC guidelines.
• Assist with classroom instruction, activities, classroom decoration, and maintenance of a warm, clean, safe learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians and encourage children’s participation; no classroom experience is required because paid training is provided.
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong customer service and organizational skills, ability to multitask, availability during regular operating hours, and compliance with state child-care employment criteria; part-time schedule with no evenings or weekends.
