Job Description
• Part-time Student Technical Assistant supporting the Applied Weed Physiology Laboratory in Penn State's Department of Plant Science and College of Agricultural Sciences
• Perform manual and routine to semi-skilled research tasks in greenhouse, laboratory, and field settings, including cleaning seed lots and measuring plant biomass
• Collect and enter research data and complete necessary routine activities to keep projects running
• Undergraduate student role requiring punctuality, responsibility, motivation, teamwork, a valid driver's license, motor vehicle records check, and standard university background checks
• Maximum schedule is 20 hours per week during academic terms and 40 hours per week during academic breaks; development of independent research projects may be possible
