Party and Event Host

Job Description

• Part-time, on-site Party and Event Host position at Michaels Stores in Thornton, CO, supporting children’s birthday parties, craft classes, and other store events.
• Plan, coordinate, set up, facilitate, break down, and clean events; demonstrate craft projects, perform face painting, manage add-ons, communicate with clients, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide retail customer service, checkout support, product assistance, Rewards and Private Label Credit Card enrollments, VOC survey education, and omnichannel support through BOPIS and SFS.
• Perform stocking, truck unloading, planogram, SISO, AD set, merchandise recovery, store cleanliness, shrink and safety, and Custom Framing selling and production duties.
• Requires experience with children and children’s events plus retail and/or customer service experience; requires excellent communication, people, organizational, interpersonal, creative problem-solving, and respectful interaction skills. Pay is $15.16–$17.70, with possible overtime; application deadline is November 30, 2026.
