Job Description

• Provide on-site patient care as a Patient Care Assistant on a 36-bed medical acute unit serving post-operative and oncology patients.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal needs while maintaining a safe, organized environment.
• Perform vital signs, EKGs, and patient data collection under the direction and permitted scope of a clinician.
• Support clinical operations through patient logistics, clerical work, equipment and supply support, and charge reconciliation.
• Work full-time nights—72 hours every two weeks, 6:30pm–7:00am—including varied weekdays, weekends, and holiday rotation; must be self-motivated, efficient, and collaborative.
