PERIOPERATIVE PCT (PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN) - OPERATING ROOM

Job Description

• Part-time, on-site Perioperative Patient Care Technician role supporting indirect patient care and nonpatient-care operations in the Operating Room at Cooper University Health Care in Camden, NJ.
• Perform OR turnover and cleaning, including trash removal, cleaning the OR and OR table, making the table, and mopping the floor.
• Gather equipment, supplies, and instrumentation; set up rooms for surgical cases; change OR tables when necessary.
• Transport specimens to the lab and return supplies to CSP and their designated locations in the OR.
• Acute Care Hospital experience is preferred; High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred; current NJ-BLS Certification is required. Weekend, holiday, and rotation work is required.
