Job Description

• Full-time Front End Pharmacy Technician role in a closed-door Omnicare pharmacy in Coventry, RI, supporting medication dispensing for skilled nursing, assisted living, and chronic care settings.
• Perform pharmacy order entry, collaborate with pharmacists and team members to ensure dispensing accuracy, and provide customer service.
• Triage customer service requests, calculate or verify prescription dosages, review narcotic prescriptions for timely return, and communicate computer-flagged allergies, drug interactions, and therapeutic duplications.
• Requires a certification, license, or registration as a pharmacy technician as required by state law, plus at least one year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Requires a verifiable High School Diploma or GED; prior long-term care experience and PTCB National Certification are preferred. Pay range is $17.00–$31.30, with 37 anticipated weekly hours.
