Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Inpatient/Acute Care

Job Description

• Provide inpatient/acute-care physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, document care, and communicate patient responses.
• Educate and advocate for patients and families while promoting safe mobility, functional independence, and wellness.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and support therapy program goals.
• Requires graduation from an accredited program, 2+ years of experience, current or eligible state PTA licensure, and Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days.
• Part-time, 20 hours/week, day shift in Springfield, IL; $25.53-$38.29/hr; full-time schedule may be considered.
