Planer Infeed Forklift Operator

Job Description

• Operate a forklift to move, load, unload, stage, sort, stack, and feed lumber bundles through planer and production areas.
• Inspect lumber placement, stability, identification, alignment, and inventory availability while maintaining safe, consistent production flow.
• Perform routine forklift inspections, report mechanical or safety concerns, and maintain a clean, organized work area while following safety, PPE, and lumber-handling procedures.
• Requires age 18+, previous forklift experience including Hyster 300 experience, physical ability to handle lumber and climb on/off equipment, and availability Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, with occasional Saturdays and overtime.
