Job Description
• Permanent, full-time Plant Electrician role in an on-site manufacturing/industrial plant in Indianapolis, IN, working Monday–Friday from 6am to 3pm.
• Troubleshoot, repair, install, and connect industrial electrical and electronic equipment, including motors, switches, timers, transformers, rectifiers, sensors, conduit, fittings, and junction boxes.
• Read electrical schematics and one-line diagrams; perform weekly/monthly calibrations and ensure installations comply with safety codes and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Participate in the Plant Emergency Response Team (PERT), perform emergency electrical shutdowns, follow hazardous-material PPE requirements, and comply with State and Federal waste-management rules.
• Requires 3+ years of electrician/plant electrical experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting; PLC experience is preferred, and U.S. work authorization is mandatory. Compensation is $90,000–$100,000/year plus potential 5% annual bonus and paid overtime.
