Job Description
• Remote, full-time Platform Engineer role with Defense Unicorns supporting UDS deployment and maintenance in secure, bare-metal environments for a U.S. government contractor.
• Architect, deploy, configure, test, maintain, and troubleshoot GPU-enabled bare-metal infrastructure, Kubernetes services, storage, networking, and cloud-native platforms.
• Develop infrastructure as code and configuration for consistent deployments; support secure software delivery involving containers, registries, packages, and deployment artifacts.
• Requires U.S. citizenship, eligibility for a security clearance, Kubernetes/container-platform experience, IaC and CI/CD expertise, Linux/Unix administration, AWS knowledge, YAML proficiency, and strong collaboration skills.
• Possess or obtain DoD 8570 IAT II certification such as Security+ CE; travel requirement is 15–25%; compensation is $123,250–$166,750 USD/year.
