Job Description
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, preventative maintenance, and installation on plumbing systems across UVA medical, academic, and commercial buildings.
• Lay out piping systems, install hangers and supports, and ensure pipefitting complies with applicable building codes and construction documents.
• Hold a Journeyman or Master plumbing license and valid Driver's license; Backflow Certification is strongly preferred.
• Bring a minimum of four (4) years of plumbing trade experience, including troubleshooting and repair, plus a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Work on-site in Charlottesville, VA, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, while complying with OSHA and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
