Plumber

Job Description

• Perform residential new construction plumbing installations and commercial plumbing service work within approximately 35 miles of Rockford, IL.
• Install piping and fixtures, troubleshoot and repair commercial plumbing systems, interpret blueprints, and work with cast iron and other plumbing materials while meeting code and company standards.
• Begin each day at the shop, load the service truck, travel between customer sites, document completed work, and operate company vehicles with a clean driving record.
• Transition from working alongside an experienced technician during the first couple of weeks to independently managing assigned calls and projects; participate in an on-call rotation approximately once every five weeks.
• Requires proven residential or commercial plumbing experience; 2 or more years of apprentice experience is advantageous. A Licensed Plumber credential is highly valued, and a Plumbing Apprentice card or formal apprenticeship is a strong plus.
