Power Electrical Apprentice

Job Description

• Full-time Power Electrical Apprentice assisting with utility-scale electrical projects while training under a journey-level electrician.
• Installs, repairs, and maintains energy equipment; measures, cuts, bends, and pulls wire and conduit, including DC and MV wire.
• Uses hand and power tools such as drills, crimpers, and cutters after proper training; prepares and supplies materials and maintains an organized work area.
• Requires a high school diploma or GED, some construction and/or electrical experience, and a current driver’s license.
• Requires safe electrical-equipment practices, knowledge of electrical systems, teamwork, communication, physical work in heat and varied weather, and the ability to handle materials up to 200 lbs.; over-50-lb. lifting requires assistance or equipment. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
