Power Electrical Licensed Journeyman

Job Description

• Mortenson is hiring a full-time Electrical Journeyman for electrical system maintenance and installation in the United States; work mode is not specified.
• Assemble, install, test, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, motors, transformers, generators, circuits, fixtures, and high-voltage systems.
• Interpret plans, drawings, specifications, prints, and work orders; install new service, conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshoot faulty components, and order supplies.
• Requires a high school diploma or GED, trade or technical school certification/diploma, an apprentice aptitude test, current driver’s license, and a minimum of two years of related experience.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship; requires English communication, equipment operation, electrical-code compliance, teamwork, customer service, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently.
